Hi Friends,

Twitter Goodies Profile Widget + Twitter Goodies Search Widget + Twitter Integration (wp to twitter). This plugin will show your twitter tweets under Sidebar Area (Widget), Post and/or Pages. Tweets will REFRESH AUTOMATICALLY. Also it has reply option inside widget on mouse over action. Please go to Appearance -> Widgets -> Twitter Goodies to add it under Sidebar Area. Admin panel option available under Settings -> Twitter Goodies to set different color combination and twitter widget options. This twitter widget is using Twitter Goodies APIs. Integrate Post to Twitter option added to v1.0.1. Best Twitter Tools and nice Twitter Widget GUI.

you can have a look at the website and Iv reinstalled it aswell, but still no luck?
please let me know what to do?
I have put in the API key and my username and pass,,, but doenst work..
  • Yes, thats right. It will load total 30 random tweets.

    Hi,

Like your wp Widget very much. Just one question: the tweets are scrolling down; how can i make them scroll up? I''ve been searching and fooling around for a couple off hours, but i can't figure it out.

    Gr. Richard
  • Hi Richard, as this plugin is using official twitter APIs there is no option to flow tweets up.
  • Richard
Ok... thnx! I will see if i like it this way.
  • Marcus
Just wanted to say that this is the most AWESOME Twitter/Wp Widget I have ever found

    Keep up the great work!
  • Thanks Marcus.

I have the twitter goodies plug in on my site and it's working fine, however I'm trying to put the same plugin on a different part of my site using a different twitter account. Is there anyway that the plugin supports having two different accounts for different parts of a website?
  • Hi Michael. Nope. Currently it supports only one account.
  • Arpit - installed the Twitter Goodies upgrade (1.4.0) automatically from the wp-admin panel on three sites last night. Today the widget is not showing tweets on the website, no 'new post' link being sent to Twitter. The widget has been running just fine since I installed it before New Year's. Thoughts? Sites are using three different templates, but that wasn't an issue before the upgrade. I'm not registered with bit.ly - is that the only way that Twitter integration will work?
  • Hi Pat Steer. I've just looked at your blog and it seems everything is working fine. I do see tweets flowing. And regarding twitter integration, yes, you must need to provide your own bit.ly username and API key. I hope this will help.

    Hi Arpit,

I'm facing the same issue as Pat Steer did. After upgrade it to 1.4.0, no "new post/edit post" link being sent to Twitter. Btw, i have filled in all information include the bit.ly username & API key, but still no luck!

    Please help!Thanks very much.
  • Hello Wee. Could you please double confirm Twitter Username/pass and bit.ly Username/API key? I also had an issue but I misspelled the API key at that time. Hope it will resolve this issue.
  • I have the same problem. Registered with bit.ly, provided and cross checked the credentials. but the tweets are still not showing.
  • Hi Chiar. I hv just checked you site and it seems tweets are flowing fine. Have you tried deleting browser cache or WP cache (if you are using any cache plugin).
  • wee
    Hi Arpit,

Everything works fine now, after i reset the API key and update into the integration option.

My question, what will happen if user does not key in their Bit.ly Username&API key?

    Thanks alot.
  • Thanks Wee for your update. I'm glad it works for you. As you know initially I was providing bit.ly key but because of some security reason and so many requests from users I have provided option to provide user's own API. So, all persons have control over their own short link. :)

The thing I have a problem with (Still) is that I cannot do an exact search because the search box does not like quotes. So, if I want an exact search, especially with search operators, it does not work.

    EXAMPLE:
    "tiger woods" OR "pga golf"

This will not work and when I reload the settings page all that is there is a /
  • Sorry for trouble. I'll take a look at "" and will release fix in next release.

I reactivated the Twitter integration : the tweets don't appear at all unless I register with bit.ly (which I just did). Otehrwise, the RT and username are fine. All I need now is the ability to post the tweets at will rather than at every update of the WP page.
